Wierd Dreams

Post » Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:34 am

Last night I had a dream that I haven't been able to forget all day, it's so insane.

I was a fully grown asian woman and I had a boyfriend who was also asian. We just got a free car for some reason (It was one of those silly smart cars with two seats) and we were over the moon. My boyfriend dropped my off at my house which was right by a marina for some reason, and I went inside. I must've been home for about 10 seconds when there was a knock on the door and a talking envelope invited me to get another free car at the factory in the middle of nowhere. So I went to the factory, which wasn't a factory at all but a large rock with a car parked next to it. I just got in the car and was about to drive away when some invisible hands pulled me into the back seat.

Then I switched to being my boyfriend, who apparently had also got the same message and was by the rock. Another car appeared that was like a smart car/stretch limo hybrid, so I jumped in and drove away. People were jumping out of trees and shooting me, I could tell I was bleeding but it didn't hurt. So what did I do while my girlfriend and kidnapped and I was bleeding? Play computer games of course! The game was kinda like Gmod but in a Minecraft map, and I guess it was fun. I switched to being my girlfriend again after a while.

I was back at home (As the girl now) and reading a book when my asian father came along and told me I needed to get married immediately. Apparently he didn't like my boyfriend and told me I was going to go sailing with our asian neighbors and marry their son. They had a french last name, but I can't remember what. Anyway, we went down to the marina and I was really scared of the water. We got onto a crappy looking yacht and my father started talking to some other people. I looked into the water and got snatched, and of course I was kidnapped again. Back to boyfriend.

I can't remember what exactly my boyfriend did now, but it did involve playing more Gmod/Minecraft hybrid. Back to girlfriend.

Yet again I was home from being kidnapped by the evil car company, this time I was sitting at a table waiting patiently. A woman in black robes walked into the room. She was quite pretty I guess, but she had a wierd ginger afro that stuck up at odd angles. Anyway, she sat down and drank a glass of milk. "Ready to go?" She said, smiling evilly. I didn't reply. "Thanks for the milk" she said, straightening her black gloves. "it wasn't milk" I said cooly, "It was acid". She frowned slightly before collapsing onto the table. Then a black guy and another woman, both wearing blue dresses (not robes) appeared from the living room smiling at me. Apparently they were my friends and they killed the woman. I pulled the guy aside and started thanking him for saving me and then I woke up.

---

Of all the wierd dreams I've had, this takes the cake. I know it's kinda long , and I know this thread has come up a billion times before, and I know it's wierd, but now that I've written it down it makes even less sense.

SoooOOOooooo, got any wierd dreams you'd like to share?

How can you know that you dream if you don't remember it?

As for weird dreams, I had one where a troll tied me to a stone and stabbed me in my stomach with a fork. Woke up as soon as the fork hit me.

One time when I was sick I had watched the episode http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insane_in_the_Mainframe from Futurama (back when Futurama used to be on advlt Swim)

So around the time that the episode was ending I started to fall asleep and I dreamed that I was in a robot asylum and they were doing weird crazy robot experiments on me. I then woke up because there was an experiment that was being done on me that started suffocating me (in actuality I couldn't breathe because my nose was stuffed up and when I'm asleep apparently I'm too stupid to breathe out of my mouth instead of my plugged up nose)

So I got up, half asleep, around 12 am or so and went to the bathroom to relieve myself. I then walked into the hallway leading to the kitchen and my sister had seen me from one of our living room chairs and told my mom that I was up. They didn't want me in the kitchen because I was sick and didn't want me to touch stuff so my sister got me a bottle of water while my mom was asking me why I was up and what was wrong.

I was half asleep and still rather upset at the dream but I began telling my mom and my sister about the episode of Futurama and how it permeated into my dream. Apparently though being half asleep and sick I didn't tell the story quite in order and my mom and sister thought I was delusional and sent me back to bed after checking that I didn't have an insanely high fever.

----------------------------------
Not my dream but it is a funny story about my cousin's son (he's about 9 or so now but the event took place a while back)

My cousins have seen Monster Inc.

And so one night my cousin had a dream that http://pixar.wikia.com/Randall_Boggs was in his room chasing him

So he gets up and runs into his moms room and is freaking out saying RANDALL IS IN MY ROOM! RANDALL IS IN MY ROOM!! My cousin get's up and tries to console her son and goes into his room. Obviously she doesn't find anything and tells him that it's ok Randall is in fact not in his room. But my cousin's son protests and says "NO HE'S INVISIBLE!!"

Not being able to argue with that logic she let him sleep in her room

Of course the trade off is now when he get's a girlfriend and brings her home his mom is going to tell that story

Interesting dream OP, I cant remember my strange dreams :( I'll remember dreams vaguely after waking up sometimes, but usually they are boring so I dont even try to decipher them or remember for later use.

I had a weird dream this morning that I can't ever describe because I was in a partly asleep, partly awake stupor.

My dream last night involved zombies. I was part of a large group of survivors, a few dozen people, and we had to make our way to some unclear destination to escape. Along the way were several strange areas we had to pass through, each of which was inhabited by a certain type of "special" zombie. Also, for zombie nerds who need to know, they were undead AND fast-type. Very unpleasant. Anyhow, our group moved through the areas. First was a Rapture-like city, where the local special zombie, called the Cloak Man, got one of the people in the group, as well as the one who tried to save him. From there we moved into a series of three different cave structures, which we passed through without incident. In the second cave we passed a huge chamber lit by a distant, indistinct light source, but we passed by without entering as it was inhabited by flesh-eating zombie bats. Outside of the caves, we emerged onto some cliffs and below we could see huge strip mines, in which zombies were being used as slave labor, controlled by the local special, Mud Man. There were lots of them, but they were far away, and we moved on safely.

From there we reached the final area, which was at once a strange and beautiful and terrifying sight. It had the layout of an elegant mansion, tall ceilings raised by white pillars, paintings on the walls, marble floors, everything was opulent. It was also a bizarre dimensional-rift/Escher sort of thing. Rooms floated through black space, connected by long staircases through the void, continuing on seemingly forever, with no apparent rhyme or reason on the placement or connection of the rooms in the infinite mansion. Every room was a dining room, with a long dining table, covered in fine crystal decorations and golden silverware. A zombie was seated at every seat, at every table, in every room of the mansion, dressed in classy evening wear and tuxedos and such to match the setting. The group moved very slowly and quietly; gradually the zombies started to notice us, a few turning heads here and there, some of those heads falling off the rotting necks from the effort, some rising from their chairs to follow. The attention gradually increased, as did the speed of the group, until it was complete madness. Thousands of screaming zombies were charging toward us from all directions, with our group trying to desperately fight off the horde while also running for the exit. Tables were knocked over, zombies were beaten to pulp, people were eaten. It was deafening, bloody chaos.

And then suddenly we were at the beginning again, moving on from the Cloak Man's attack. Apparently people were dissatisfied that we hadn't gotten to see the Diamond Man, the special who lived in the caves, so the whole experience was "rebooted". This time we saw it, leading a procession of zombie slaves through the tunnels. It was crowded, but we still passed without incident, thanks to the group leader telling us to stay absolutely still. The Diamond Man knew we were there, but apparently didn't care as long as we didn't move and didn't block the passage of zombies. We moved on, but this time the mining slave zombies were climbing the cliffs, and several people were dragged down before we escaped. Again, we got to the infinite mansion, and the same thing played out; slowly moving through, slowly being noticed, eventual madness. This time, I didn't escape, and woke up as they overwhelmed me.

Once, I was a red-eyed, jaunty creature. Long, long claws. Ashen skin. I was pretty taken aback. It was awesome but weird.

Hmm, it was a really long time ago, so I don't remember many details. I just remember it involved my best friend having six with his girlfriend in a tub full of blood while I Dug for buried treasure inside a castle.

When I was younger and really big into WWF (World Wrestling Federation, not World Wildlife Federation), I had a dream that I was the Hulk and my brother was Rowdy Roddy Piper and we were flexing and trying to win over this girl in a bikini. We were in the yard at my house, too. The really strange thing is that we were all huge and stuff, but had the head we have in real life. So it was if the Hulk had a 9 year old's head.

Never gonna forget that dream.

Another one I had was I was being chased and fell off a cliff and a boulder fell on me. I woke up on the floor with a chair laying on top of me. It's pretty awesome that my dream, I guess, followed what happened in real life while it was happening, minus the being chased part.

I had a really weird dream last night about zombies. Which isn't too weird on its own, but what was weird was that I wasn't infected, and they weren't attacking. Actually they weren't attacking anyone or each other. They were completely docile. I think it must have been an effect of playing Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, because one of the dude zombies told me not to use his electric guitar to kill any of the other zombies. And then I spent the other half of the dream waiting to be attacked and finding a good place to hide his guitar to keep it safe.

For a few nights now, I've been having dreams, where in the middle, I suddenly realize it's a dream, then start doing whatever I like in the dream. I take control.. I found it cool, but weird at the same time. I think I should stop before I find it hard to tell between dreams and reality. Might have to keep a totem. :P

Spoiler
Did anyone get the reference? =3

I dream Im in certain games at times, I guess it's one of the effects of being a gamer. I was in Half-Life 2 Episode 2 most recently. It was pretty cool. Started out somewhere in my high-school though. Basically it was one of the "zombie apocalypse" dreams.

I had a dream where I was playing guitar infront of a crowd and Barrack O' bama was there. Some guy didn't like what I was playing so he ripped my guitar lead out and I said "HEY! That's my lead!" and then Barrack O' bama punched the guy like 3 times in the head and made him fall to the ground and handed me back my lead.

Wierd would have approved, though.

This was the weirdest dream I've had recently, if only for how unusually detailed it was, most of my dreams are more concept based, with only vague and confused plots, but not this one. Half the finer points become blurred by time, but I managed to get most of it written down.

Had a [censored] odd dream last night, no idea what the hell part of my subconscious that came from.

I find the tattered schoolbag and diary of this 14 year old girl, apparently my old babysitter (I never had a babysitter) who just happened to go missing in 1992. Rather than being in the first person, I was kind of a disembodied perspective, following her around her day to day life.

I find out how she goes missing. She gets transported to 2010 by an angry malevolent energy vampire, who kills her with a flash of blue lightning in order to use her life force to resurrect its dead mate.

Having seen this, the perspective then shifts to my position in the present day. Horribly affected by this, I decide, as one does in dreams, to use a very fast train that will hopefully travel fast enough to send me back in time to 1992 so that I can stop her ever being sent into the future and killed.

It doesn't quite work, and sends me back to 2005 at my old school, on the anniversary of her disappearance. There are posters of her face everywhere, like shrines almost. I go and sit in my old biology class, wondering how to get back home myself. Then I woke up.

I never normally have dreams that are quite that emotional, that was really heartbreaking when you've sat through and watched it all, seen the girl's day to day life. :cold: Oh, and 1992 was really, really bleak. Also she looked like a young http://www.its-behind-you.com/images/lucyevans.jpg and was named as a "Vicki Postlethwaite", I wonder if that's significant?

Hey, maybe this was a result of glue fumes I accidentally inhaled while fixing my laptop fan?

A few days after this, it was on the news that the body of a schoolgirl was found. She was named Vicky, and disappeared 20 years ago.

That does sound pretty http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/wierd. However, I've had weirder. Unfortunately, they are not suitable to these forums, and if I tried to remember them in their entirety I would go back into a bad case of being "down in the dumps" that I just got out of (and I am enjoying being happy thank you very much).

Yeah, yeah, I know I spelled it wrong. I before E and all that is what I follow, so "weird" is just a weird exception.

Keep your eye on Turns the Page. He's apparently capable of psychic powers now. Dammit, man, will you stop developing your eldritch powers for, like, two seconds? Every day it's something new with you.

:P

Seriously, though, that's creepy. Reminds me of the time I had a dream. Apparently I was summoned to a tournament. It was specifically called the "Tournament of the Nephilim." Awesome name, I know. But apparently it involved slaughtering everyone you knew, or at least as many as you could manage, so I said no. Later that day, I found out about the Virginia Tech Massacre. I admit, mine's not quite as epically weird as yours, but it was still pretty significant to me, because the dream carried this weird and specific feeling, and somehow that feeling made me believe the two were connected.

EDIT: I said no, not now. Sorry. I promise, I don't murder acquaintances.
