Elder Scrolls IV : Have a PS3 160. i am presently at level 32, but i cannot go any further. first thing i noticed, fire almost frozen , no flickering. cannot open gates or certain doors, when any magicka is used, the effects do not dissapate but remain for a long time. cannot go much further since it will lockup when running or walking. worked fine prior to this. unable to get the option for the patch. no sure what to do. i do love this game

It sounds like the Animation Bomb bug. There is a cure on PC, but not on console. At a certain point, it happens to all saves. The only solution is to either reload an earlier save of the character, or start over.

Sad part, i have gone back to saved areas many times and restarted many times. This same thing happened on my original start as well. it is in the disc, not sure what to do since i started 3 months ago. Animation Bug ! what a shame.
