Has anybody had the issue that they cannot launch the game without wifi even though i remember Todd announcing we wouldnt need wifi to play it ?

But hear me out

Of course, connected to wifi, i download the game and still connected, i play it for roughly a solid hour or so until the game just closes. I try to reopen it and it opens the load screen but will just crash until i reinstall it. After this happening about 5 times I realised each time it crashes, its due to not having wifi connection. Ive noticed i cannot launch it without wifi and when it does crash due to disconnection and i reconnect, it still will not open.

Does anybody have experience with this bug ? Is there a fix or am I to wait until the team does some bug fixes.

I can play not connected to the wifi/data. I wish it did require wifi as I would love to trasfer data between devices

I can launch it without Wifi enabled - must be something odd with your device.
