So my school internet is beyond useless in the dorms. Getting to the point, I bought a WiFi Range Extender (dlink DAP 1650) to boost the signal so that it reaches my room (internet is good, but the range doesn't make it from the router to my room and we can't have a wired connection)

I set the thing up in a place with a strong signal, had to set it up via an ethernet connection (WPS option wasn't viable as the button doesn't exist on the router).

All my devices can "see" the boosted signal, but when they connect to it, it's limited. No internet. Ugh. I've tried resetting both the DAP and router, but nothing.

Anyone have any idea how I can make it work? I know I'll need to give more info, I just don't even know what you need to know.
