Mh, it depends on the story... and what feels in the whole context of the story appropriate.
In Morrowind I play mostly female Characters and in Oblivion as a male.
I'm a good roleplayer ... and i find it very interresting to play the role of a member of the opposite six... it's like exploring my male side. (I'm female) It's fun.
Somehow I think a story makes more sense when playing male. I mean isn't it weird when some orc warrior asks a girl to go in a cave and kill x number of monsters? Plus, there is no difference between male and female character. Imo females should be able to use their looks once in a while.
Well, let me say... your opinion a bit sixist... but I have somehow to agree ... when I'm simply looking from a male point of view, outside of the fantasy setting,(inside too?) that it is. I hope you understand what im trying to say: The weak female image of men is the root of the problem. It's somehow like a self fullfilling prophecy. Well...
As a female you need to be very tough and constantly prove yourself - that you're better than most males... most females are simply not.. and when your tough girl, some males will not like you.
And handsome males should be able to use their looks to.
