Will we be able to change FOV in Crysis 2?

I can't believe how much of the screen is taken up by the gun in the demo :(

we already can.

donwload crysis config v3 or add this to your shortcut target:
+cl_fov XX for normal FOV

+r_DrawNearFoV XX for ADS FOV

+pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov XX for sprint FOV

If you just think the gun is too large, then use "+r_DrawNearFOV 90" or something :)

90 was a little too much, what should I set it at?

I did for awhile have my FOV up near 80 but I found it HURTS YOUR AIM. So I went back to normal and my KDR went up fast. Do not mess with the FOV. You will loss firefights because the way the game is set up.

Unbelievable. It now looks exactly like every other console shooter out there, with slightly, slightly, better visuals. I really hope the single player pc version gets some changes made to it, because if the entire game plays like that multilayer demo, I'll be seriously disappointed. The fov in Crysis 1 was perfect. I hate being forced into iron sights every 5 seconds.....

really? I find that a larger FoV allows for better survival and also makes the game just feel a lot better when you're moving around (thus making assassinations so much easier to judge):)

The change in target size at a distance is minimal, if you can't shoot someone at 80 FoV you wouldn't be shooting them at 55 either. I finished the demo with a k/d of 2.4 or so ^^
