Will alchemy/enchantments be implemented better?

I am sure this doesn't hold true for everyone, but in Oblivion I had a hard time using alchemy/enchantments. (I mean like using them in combat)

The potions and enchantments are so in depth, that I never find a use for them in game. The only potions I actually use are the restore health potions and restore fatigue. I never find the need to "fortify speed 10" or "disintegrate weapon 20 pts" etc.

And the enchanted weapons were cool, but needing to charge them by finding soul gems and trapping souls was just too much for me.

I am not by any means wishing that Skyrim be dumbed down, I love an in-depth rpg. I just mean that maybe the different effects could be made more useful during combat.

If you just kept azura's star and enchanted a weapon, say a bow, with soul trap for like 1 second you wouldnt even have to manage it. Just fill up the weapon when you kill something. Its really not too complicated if you utilize the tools they provide. I agree about the alchemy bit to some extent, but restore health and fatigue arent the only useful alchemical creations useful in combat. You used speed as an example, but if you either enchanted a weapon or created a poison with damage speed you could devastate an oponent. Look up the "Slow Bow" on uespwiki. It also makes running easier if youre travelling a long distance without a horse. So if you look into it most effects are useful.

I think alchemy should be made 10x more complex personally.

What? Waiting for the nitration of hexamethylenetetramine and spirit of nitre and then waiting about a week for the hexogen to dry to use it as a 50 fire dmg "poison" is hardly fun. Oh, and getting your face blown off if you bump the table it was on is not a good thing for gameplay. Nobody would use the alchemy except for a couple of hardcoeheads.
