Or will there be some intelligent one's that we get to communicate with during the main quest? I did read somewhere that not all the dragons will attack you on sight, but that doesn't imply they can communicate with you. I have a strong feeling there will probably one 'elder' dragon who you will talk to and he'll be a big plot point in the main quest.

I have that feeling of a good-willed elder dragon too. I think there will be dragons in the main quest that you can talk to, but those who roam in the wild, those that you're supposed to get dragon souls from will be neutral/hostile 99% of the time.

So dragon mounts? lol

To be honest even if they were in the game I wouldn't even want to fly around on a dragon (am I insane?) it would make the game seem really small.

They're just a bunch of dumb beasts anyway.

With no fast travel I could see dragon mounts filling that void. It kind of makes sense really.

I think it was confirmed in a vid interview, that not all of them are "out to get you" without going into more detail cause they didn't want to spoil the plot

I thought fast travel was out? and they haven't said one way or another on dragon mounts.

From what I've heard there's two ways of fast travel - the Oblivion way or you can get a carriage or something in a town.
I haven't heard about the dragon mounts though, but I think I remember reading somewhere that they were probably not in, but I'm not sure.

Probably this particular elder dragon will be hidden somewhere (like in a cave) as he's bound to treachery and shame to the other dragons and Alduin, so maybe he'll help you by telling you what to do and where to go, no dragon mounting.

Some dragons will be friendly or neutral, related to the main plot. Some will even speak Tamrielic to you. Most of them want to kill you though, since they're the angels of Alduin and that's kinda their job.

And no, no dragon mounts. That would just be dumb.

I think finding a chill dragon that doesn't want to eat your face would be so sick. but flying around on a dragon would be kind of lame. And fast travel from the 3D world map as already been confirmed.

I thought it was no fast travel and carriages cost gold. i dont think you could have both and have it make sense. Also im still praying to the nine everyday that dragon mounts will be in. That would be soooo cool.
