Will anybody bring their characters into Skyrim?

Post » Wed Jul 27, 2011 11:41 pm

I have spent most of my Oblivion paying time with my Dunmer, Avon Arvil. As he is a Dunmer and lives longer than other races, I am considering continuing his story with Skyrim.

Of course, the PC is "Dragonborn" in Skyrim, so I'm not sure how I will be able to work around that.

So, will anybody (particularly those who have invested a lot of time with one specific character) consider recreating them in Skyrim, or just start anew?

Possibly. I may bring my Dunmer, Rythe Arano, but he will be very old (he is now, but I think he could get another 200 years in ;) ). I like my characters being Lore friendly, so he will be old and frail and a decorated legend.

I'm pretty satisfied with my Nord from Oblivion, so I don't think I'll change it up much. I might work on my Magic a bit more, though. I totally ignored Magic in Oblivion. I think my Magicka's 125 or something. It isn't very high. The ability to duel wield spells looks so cool that I think I'm going to have to give it a try.

I have a female Imperial vampire that has been around since the Second Era. She's played some role in all four major games, but is never the main protagonist. If anything, she's kind of a recurring antagonist.

My characters have reincarnated into several games. Acadian normally precedes and spends quite a bit of time learning the new rules of the world and game in question. He is sturdy, worldly and willingly tests the waters as it were. If the game is deemed epic and fit for elven consumption, then we will engineer a way to incarnate Buffy the glass cannon into the world for a few years. Some games pass Acadian's testing; others do not.

Also, Rythe will not be 'Dragonborn'. It took him 400 years to find that out? Yah no.

Probably not, considering I always start my first character as the main race (In this case, Nords) for a main quest run.

"Glargg" will appear in Skyrim. "Glargg" is a barbarian game-tester who has been appearing in RPGs as far back as the 1980s. In TES games he's a Nord, so he will surely fit right in.

"Glargg" has also never actually finished any game. He's a game-mechanics tester, a "trial and error" guy who dies a lot. Eventually, he retires and lets a more capable warrior do the honors. On the other hand, maybe he's the "Dragonborn." Or maybe it's the mead talking.

After that? Who knows. :)

just to say....armagzayin started as a nord barbarian..then became a ranger ...that was daggerfall...as life went on he was a pigrim, crusader , and a couple more....morrowind done and oblivion comes out...he had some good elf friends, but they couldn't handle what had to be done...so many options, but battlemage is how it is now...took a long time to learn

Ewe will most probably be dead by the time-frame of Skyrm. What with the disintegration and subsequent civil war in the empire and Cyrodiil, and she never really being too tongue-smart to begin with... or lucky at all.
