Cold-blooded does not mean that one can survive in the cold. It means, because they can't regulate their own body temperature, they are actually unable to survive in semi-extreme weathers, be it too hot or too cold.

Yeah? Well, I don't remember them saying they were cold blooded.. And also, most of you guys don't seem to get the fact that the games ARE the lore. If something contradicting appears in a newer game, they sure as hell will have an explenation ready. Now stop whining, and be glad they're gonna be in.

Unfortunately for us, the definition of reptiles doesn't hold in a fantasy world. My suggestion: it's a game, you have ten races, play them as you will and enjoy it. The game is the lore and there is no reason to argue over something this trivial.

Even if they were cold blooded, their large body mass would require a large amount of time for their body temperature to drop to ambient temperature.

come on man, think. THINK HARD. Argonians are a furry type race, so they can posses any human or reptilian trait that Bethesda finds convenient. How many times do I have to explain that when somebody invents a race of sentient beings, they can decide what they can and cannot do, for example Argonians can breathe underwater and on dry land, but they cannot be poisoned and Khajiit can (temporarly) see in the dark but they have problems harnessing magic to any real potential.

So really, if Bethesda wants to say "yup, they're warm blooded reptiles" then they can because they invented Argonians. Get over it.
