Will being a warrior & sneaky assasin work? (help)

Post » Thu Oct 13, 2011 2:48 pm

The reason i ask this question is because on my first playthrough on oblivion i was an all out melee character...but when i hit the dark brotherhood questline my character felt really out of place. On my second playthrough i was a khajiit and i went all out assasin (bow & daggers & the occasional sword) and i experienced the questline better because it just felt right ( same goes for thieves guild).

So im not really sure what to do, if i played a khajiit id go assasin, but ive decided to go nord because we are guna be in skyrim afterall....but am i hell waiting till my 2nd playthrough to do dark brotherhood, but at the same time i dont want this out of place feeling again :\

PS. Forgot to add, Dark brotherhood and Theives guild were by far my favorite part of the game!

With the improvements to stealth, I definitly plan on playing as a stealth warrior, good with a bow and dagger for stealth kills but can also hold his own with a blade.

Yea this is exactly how i would like my character! Never really been into magic ( found it boring in oblivion ) but i know for sure il have a mage playthrough this time.

Yea pretty much you can be what fits you and your playing style. Short and simple play how you like know one can tell you the right and wrong way to play a game.

Right so going by what iv seen ( you become good at what you use ) if i use my bow, dagger and a sword roughly in an equal manner i should get the character im after.

Have been following this game for a while but only joined the forum the other day lol

With the exclusion of attributes, as well as major and minor skills, Skyrim will now be easier to combine melee and archery with stealth. The hardest part will be balancing perks, since that seems to be the new dilemma-factor in leveling a character.
