will Boston have loading screens between its city-parts?

so we all know how Skyrim, New Vegas and Fallout 3 had different areas separated by loading screens?

Westside, Freeside, the Strip... all of them had a barrier in between, because the engine and the consoles weren't far enough to manage a complete 'open' world

the same with Skyrim where all cities had their own area seperated from the actual open world

but how will it be in Fallout 4?

the city in the trailers looks bigger than in the old games...

but will they be able to manage to put this city into the actual open world this time?

are there any news on this topic? ^^

I mostly don't care about having loading screens, when going into buildings, but having a completely open city within this open world would be such a great expierience compared to the old games ^_^

No, Boston is one giant city map.

Some larger buildings and towns like Fenway, do have loading screens, but the overall city itself does not.

I think it's going to be the same, where cities are walled off as their own cells while smaller settlements will be open-world.

Is that confirmed from leaked content? If it isnt can you post a link? I'd be very interested in that, since moving around a ruined city freely without those giant piles of rubble is one of the things I was hoping for with the new console hardware.

Todd said it before in some interview, but its also from leaked content.

http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/e3/interviews/a654353/fallout-4-interview-todd-howard-talks-mods-in-game-building-and-map-size/

"In the city, it's very dense, but there is no load - like in Fallout 3, there's a load - for areas of the city, we don't do that. So it's very dense, the buildings are tall, and a lot of them are open, so you can just walk in and around, so... it's big."
