Will it Bottleneck?

Quick question: If I were to upgrade to a GTX 560 from a 260 and I have an i3 540 cpu, would there be significant bottlenecking in Crysis 2 and other games? If so, how much and is it even worth it to upgrade?

EDIT: Yes unless you've overclocked your CPU to at least 4.00GHz.

I don't know about your "cpu" .. but that GTX 560 will play Crysis 2 just perfectly fine. I have a Phenom-II X6 and GTX 465 and get over 100 fps, sometimes in drops into the 70 fps range, but that is still more than enough. Now, my GTX 465 is unlocked partially and has some GTX 470 specs, but my other PC with a Phenom-II X2 555 BE and 9600 GT plays Crysis 2 without any issues, so I'm sure it will.

I have a G570 and a Q6600 Quad running at a meager 2.4 and the game runs fine.

i have a

Black Edition AM3 AMD Athlon II X4 640, (4x 3.00GHz)
Nvidia GTX 470
4GB DDR-3 RAM

gotta say: after hours of playing i just can't remember even one time where my system got slow evenough for me to notice low fps...
btw: i have a tv-card in my PC that was running simultaniously a tv-program on my TV (tv is linked with pc via HDMI)... usually when i play, my girlfriend is watching TV...

so with your cpu overclocked to 3.8 GHz and the GTX 560 and only playing the game you should have no problems... ;)
