Will Brink still bring enough innovation to the table?

ya but put this in account idk how old u guys are but im a freshmen in highskool so im not perfect an im a rebelious one im not much for spelling an slowin down i cant stand bein in one place for to long so i speed things up an forget everything eles

Well, I'm a freshmen in college, and I don't wanna preach, but correct spelling can get you far in life. Like really far. And think of all the rebels with correct grammar. Washington, Davis, Lee, Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X. Just off the top of my head.

Grammar, the bane of students everywhere.

I find it (grammar) hard to be taught effectively in a traditionally sense, I think it can be picked up over time however.

Alrighty then, I'll let you go on this one. You'll learn them all soon enough. High school is fun though...a lot less stressful than college is. This board is my escape from the horrors of political science and economics. lulz

Ah the glories of Political Science (the required course at least).

Don't get me wrong, I'm having a lot more fun here then high school. It's just stressful as well. You have to learn to balance all the new options available to you with needs you've never had to meet before (like laundry) with the essays they pile onto you. More fun and worries all around!

edit: I brought the political science upon myself though. It's my major. lulz

It's my roomies major as well, I'm just taking the required course to get it out of the way.

Essays... not looking forward to those when brink rolls around. I'm really keen to learn more about the story, playing campaign is the highlight of a good game to me.

I feel like we should be getting more information then we have already...it seems like they're keeping a lot under wraps right now. The only gameplay vids we've seen is the container city one, the reactor one, and another container city one (this one without cheats like god mode). But it is still a good four months away...sigh.

True yet I like how secretive they are so far, it speaks well of Splash Damage that they go to such levels to keep a game under wraps.

Seeing how I am currently broke, with negative dollar amounts to my name I wish for the release date to be awhile off so I can get some funds together.

They just gave a blanket statement of "Spring," so I'd be looking for it right around the end of March, beginning of April.

I'm sure there'll be word on the forum as soon as a release date is announced, I'm sure you won't have to look for it. I'm gonna put my hypothesis on here right now...Brink's release date will be announced late December/early January.

I see it coming around January personally, or sometime shortly afterward.

"That website" is the Brink official website, and it says "Spring 2011."

I hope if anybody knows the release date, its the developers themselves. :poke:

I hear that there are no Developers on this forum, but I would troll this forum if I had some degree of free time just to see what fans of the yet to be released game were saying about it. I suppose we'll never know :(

i kinda agree i just dont get the punctuation thing unless im sayin we're not were then i need that ' so ppl see the difference and the grammar thing is kind of important 2 but i think as long as ppl can read it and understand it i shouldent need to put , . ? and ! and i manly use abrevations for most words like people and because and the "ing" at the end of some words would be "in" instead

I'm just ignoring you mostly, since whatever you're saying can't be useful if you can't be bothered to put in some sort of punctuation.

Ok, jk about the ignoring, but I still believe in grammar. Although I type in dot points...

Hope it arrives soon, but that there's a good gap between it and any COD/Halo games so it doesn't get swallowed up. Hope Zero Punctuation reviews it as well, just to see Yahtzee's opinion.

That's just a placeholder date so far...it has no real meaning. You probably saw that at Gamespot, they kinda threw in a random date for Duke Nukem Forever too, although there has been no official announcement.

The official release date is spring 2011, which could mean a lot of things. It's unclear and I suggest waiting on an official announcement since speculating only brings frustration to a lot of people (Including myself, always the same question and answers)
