I will be buying the DLC, will you

Even though it has a few minor hitches, I think this is the most fun game that I have ever played. I love it and will definitely buy the DLC. The more we support the game, the better support they will give the game. If we bail on them, then the same thing that happened to Medal of Honor - another great game - will happen here.

I actually just tried the MP just a minute ago for the first time since day 1. All the bug posts about MP scared me away from trying the MP. Well, after trying it I must say that I liked it a lot. My team lost, but only by two kills. I had some pretty good kills and a few double kills and frag grenade kills. Pretty good for a first match. I really like the MP and I did not have a problem finding a game. It found one in less than 2 minutes. I think I will be getting the DLC now as the MP worked great for me.

Since my return to Crysis i've improved a hell of a lot & i'm enjoying it much more than I was before. Since turning on AA I always finish with a positive K/D. I managed to get the 12 kills without dying DT. Big yeh for me. I can find IA, TIA, CS & CTR games very easy. It takes a couple of more minutes to find an Assault or Extraction game but nothing to complain about really.

My frustration was due to not understanding the game properly, lack of support & reading complaint after complaint. Well, it put me right off tbh. If i'm on 1 bar or host I honestly dont see that much of a difference now that i've improved & still not seen any frame rate lag. I'm loving the game at the minute & would get much use out this DLC, but I'm not buying it based on principle & show suuport to the people who are having real problems with the game.

EA cannot continue to treat people this way & I do personally blame EA especially since they allowed the same thing to happen to MOH. That was a great game, but I will not buy the sequel.

I agree with ChWigga on this one, you have to build a good foundation, before you build your house.

Fix the current problems first....

Working on DLC, delivering DLC before the games inherent problems are sorted out is just bad manners.

So what happened to MoH?

Pretty much everything your seeing here mate. No communication, didnt listen, lost a lot of players, dropped DLC for 800MSP that no one bought but a few then abandoned us altogether.

If this happens again i'll make it my duty to track down ANON & pay them DDOS all EA sites. I'll be that pissed off.

I swear the only other EA game that will go in any of my consoles will be BF & thats because EA care about that game.

Kiddin about the DDOS of course, or am I?

Not a chance.

Give these silent Dev's more of our cash, no way.

If you want to trust them with more of your cash and think you will definately get a patch, then I guess you are brave.

They aren't getting a dime from me until they fix the basic issues that have been around for 2 MONTHS.

No support from fan base so there are several game types with empty lobbies. Shame really as it is a beast of a game.

I'm sorry but I'm not supporting Crytek with my money for DLC until the hit registration is changed back to the 2nd demo's registration. If the hit detection was the same as the 2nd demos, Crytek would have had my money the first day they release the map packs on the marketplace. I can't play this game for more than an hour till I get bored/frustrated with the hit detection. The current registration favors spraying too much and ruins the balance of the weapon sandbox along with all the suit's modules. Crytek is not going to get my money for DLC until the hit detection is patched along with a breakdown detailed description of the new patch along with a list of future planned patches in the works.

This ^^

MOH was the most intense MP i've played especially CM. The only thing that runined the game for most people was the sniping, but thats what made it fun, challenging & hard. If you was a good player snipers werent much of a problem. The problem is when you have nearly a full team of snipers on one side & a whole bunch of snipers on your own team which makes it solid to capture the base. Its hard, really frustrating when your just about to take a base, you get sniped & you spawn back at base on the bunch of snipers to scared to move.

For those who don't know. Being sniped on MOH is maybe 99.99% chance of dying on most maps & about 99.98% on others. Seriously, no BS. Now imagine the above statement & have a think about it.

LOL its a TOP game.

That was my point...it svcked balls.

Edit: Crytek can't even get a forum to work properly, unable to quote 3 posts and have to guess what to delete! I guess they will fix this in the next patch.

I take it you was one of the people who kept falling victim as well lol. It was hard Bro defiantly, but thats what made the game what it was.

Snipers were so predictable that after a while they became very easy to beat. It was my team that annoyed me more than anything.

Playing MOH is the closest i've come to feeling like a solider lol. You peep & creep & leg it in open spaces if you dont want to die. Just like you would in the field.

The last time I looked there were between 1000/2000 playing that daily. I get the urge to pop it back in once in a while.

After the mediocre reviews and bad customer feedback on day one, I think Brink needs all the help it can get!

If they can get Crysis 2 running smoothly 800ms points isn't a great deal of money.

For me that's Battlefield Badcompany 2. Which I brought and have played since I got too frustrated with Crysis 2. Seems really solid when people play it properly and don't just helicopter raqe.

As for the DLC, anyone who's read any of my posts before will know I refuse to buy it. Sure support a company to keep them going, so we can keep playing but when that company releases a half decent product, and not a beta maybe I will.

There is no community interaction from them. not even a "hey we're making a patch it will be ready in a month". No apologies, nothing, just the occasional forum mod saying "hey we can say Crytek are listening" what to? iTunes?

I mean as others have pointed out, it took weeks for them to even get the forums running half properly. Those who can find games I notice are from the U.S, I can't seem to find anyone from my country to play with now, and without dedicated servers, that just means the lag problems are worse, let alone playing the waiting game to find a match to begin with.

Heck I shoot people and they refuse to die, where is the incentive for players like myself that are getting the game crippling bugs like this to keep playing, let alone buy the DLC, that looks to be a straight rip from the campaign we already own???????

I happily purchase DLC for games I own, that work, and that I can actually play, but really what loyalty do I owe to a company that has taken my money for a broken product, and since release has actually made the game worse IMO. I think all I owe them is that I am still here, hoping for a proper patch that will fix everything, and the desire to play C2 again. Aside from that I feel it is Crytek that owes the player, not the other way around.

They get my money when like other companies who get it, THEY show ME they deserve it.

I do like Crysis 2, it is fun, but it has to work and I really really want it to. It's why I am still here.
