I can't find them anywhere. I know that Carlito sometimes will not load up, but I can't find Joana anywhere, thus I can't even do a quest. Unless I am missing her this needs to be fixed. Two characters not loading properly, sigh.

Look in her room maybe; At the courtyard entrance go up the stairs to the right, once at the top of the stairs turn left and her room will be at the end. It will have a love heart bed inside. Or check out the quest on fallout wiki

Ya I checked there, she is not there. I have checked everywhere in the court yard. She is not in my game, either is Carlitos which is a common bug but Joana missing? I hope the issue with these two characters is solved.

yup that was my problem as well,Fallout Wiki says its a common bug and is down to completing 'how little we know'(even if it does say for PS3 only bug)

I have this bug too and I'm on 360. This bug occurs if you don't complete Bye Bye Love before you complete How Little We Know. So I guess the workaround is to complete Bye Bye Love before How Little We Know...

AH so we know the cause of the bug, maybe it can be fixed since the cause of the bug is known. I really don't feel like making a new character, loosing over 70 hours of gameplay just so I can do this quest, hope this is fixed.

Well I tested it and that is indeed the case. I went to an old save that didn't do Howl little we know yet and she was there.

The cause of the bug is finishing How little we know before doing bye bye love. I hope Bethesda can take this to the devs and they work on a fix for this since this is a major bug.
