You might have accidentally told him to wait and he's just chillin somewhere waitin' for you. Sometimes when you enter certain places (lucky 38), your companion is automatically put into 'wait' mode. Thats what i'd think, since you still have its perk.

They do go back to the recruitment area when you release them. Then you can go get them again later.

Where is the recruitment area? I lost EDE in the REPCONN HQ facility.

My EDE is lost also... But I fear it was my own fault... I told him to wait so he wouldn't get killed by a mob battle... But now I've left him behind and cannot remember where I left the little bugger... I wish there was a way to see them on the world map, or to disengage the WAIT command remotely (on a console, so PC commands are out).

I'm so pissed I lost EDE. It has been over 10 in game days and the bot is not showing back up at ______.

I can't even replace the bot because he's still my "companion even though he's lost.

I'm 30 hrs in and REALLY don't want to start over. Damn it.

Sometimes while changing locations companions just come back on their own, and unless you told him to stay somewhere he'll eventually come back.

Is that the RA for Boone too? or is it the big dinosaur?
