Will crysis support PhysX or not

Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 11:10 pm

Im trying to figure out if a ati 6950 or a 560ti will run crysis 2 better and i think it all comes down to if crysis 2 supports PhysX or not and with nvidia supposedly dropping 2m into the game it might. So if anyone knows or has some input please post. Please dont post if your just a fanboy to either brand. Thanks :D

No, the game will not be supporting PhysX. The game will be using Crytek's in-house physics engine.

Nope, no PhysX. That stuff is worthless for the most part.

I suggest you to buy 580 or 590 instead of 6950.
I'm using a 4850 now and regretted buying it instead of 9800gtx.

No, Physx is expensive to produce and pointless.

Hi there,

No, CryENGINE3 doesn't need PhysX as it has it's own proprietary physics engine which is very powerful :)

Wow atm you get two HD 6950 for the price of one GTX580 -.- Though he asked for 560 vs one 6950 so i think he has not that much money to spend
