Will EA or Crytek refund purchase prices? (NOT LIKELY)

Will EA or Crytek refund purchase prices if it takes longer than a month to get a patch for these problems sorted?

While I doubt it personally... You should at the very least release a statement with some actual information in it...

At least you have your game. Some of us who purchased the Nano Edition are still waiting for our copies to ship! If anyone should get a discount it's us! But no, I doubt they will refund anything based on performance issues. Patches are about the best they will do. I don't think I've ever heard of a company refunding anything for their game not performing as intended. At least not with console games. PC games however it depends on who you buy it from.

What problems are you having? I've been playing MP since launch and haven't noticed anything serious - other than getting owned a lot, which I blame on lag whether it's there or not!

Take it up with the consumer right laws in your country. I know that PS3 Black Ops players filed a law suit against Activision for all the problems they had on-line in the UK.

If you - the consumer gets a good petition going from your country's gamers then maybe companies like EA will take note that we can no longer be fobbed off with games which are broken and not fit for purpose from day one.

I'm still waiting for my Nano edition as well, my retailer predicts it's going to take another month or so. I haven't even thought about getting any money back.. but I pre-ordered januari 7th and frankly, this delay is rather ridiculous.

Who else thinks here they rushed Crytek to make Crysis to it doesn't intervene with Battlefields release since its EA's baby.

I haven't had a single bug yet. And probably not the retailer may offer you a refund if your lucky and not happy with your purchase.

If you can somehow convince your retailer the disk/game is actually faulty you can try for a refund. I have yet to experience any bugs that have stood out and interfered with my gameplay.

You couldn't be more wrong. BF3 doesn't come out until, what, November at the earliest? Crytek has had 4 years to work on this game and frankly it kicks ass. I'm really sorry that having to actually work to kill somebody instead of just hitting them once with a bullet is an inconvenience to you. Please go trade in your copy and purchase CoD so we don't have to see you on here.

If it was in Crytek hands I'm sure they would give everyone a refund who doesnt like the game.. Problem is its not its in gamestops / walmart / ea / amazon / wherever you bought the game.

Are you serious? Name one problem in multi-player or single player that makes you completely unable to play or makes the game unbearable. Thats why you play the demo and try a game out before you buy it. I can understand refunding those who have yet to get a game key or their copy yet but you're playing the game. If you svck that bad trade it in at game stop for half your purchase price.
