Will custom maps run on unranked servers only?

Its an important question cause many people dont like playing on unranked servers cause they dont register the achievements (skill assessment).

Plus unranked is more fun.

I think this was to prevent any sort of cheating going on with making maps specifically designed to get easy kills or something. Can't be too careful especially with what happened at launch!
