Will disabling Actors prevent them from respawning?

I was reading http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Talk:Disable and wondering if anyone has experience with it. My best case scenario is to disable a live actor. But I don't want to prevent them from respawning again. If that doesn't work, what about disabling dead actors?

Which actor?

Most respawning actors are part of leveled lists - there the actor doesn't respawn, but the list creates a new actor. Enabling / disabling the actor does nothing to the leveled list, it will work like it did before. Disabling the leveled list however stops the creation of new actors.

The few rare handplaced respawning actors (like the adorning fan) will likely (haven't tested, merely guessing) stay disabled if they're hand placed and a persistent reference.

Coolio. I probably won't worry about it then. I'm only going to be disabling references that are gotten with GetSelf in a spell, so it shouldn't affect the leveled lists. I might use OBSE's IsPersistent check too just to be safe.

Thanks!
