On Topic: I didn't really mind the "Diapers" on Oblivion, it's not like I was running around in the nvde... Though I guess this isn't Daggerfall anymore so the black bars are out of the question... I suspect the diaper will make a return.

Before i go any further I want to make one thing perfectly clear. I'm not in any way advocating nudity or sixual content in the vanilla game. It doesn't need to be in it...period. That can be left to mods.


The fact that you believe that every person which puts these mods in their game is "fapping" off to them speaks volumes about exactly how mature you are. It's ridiculous for you judge people based on this. They aren't just numbers you know. They are real people just like you and they are human. Like I said six is an integral part of human existence so it appeals to many of us in ways you can only understand if you are participating. Anyone that views nudity and six as inherently perverse has serious issues and passing those issues on is a detriment to the evolution of modern society.

I have the typical British 'Carry On' film attitude. Wouldn't download a nvde mod myself anyway, but to me, if I was playing a game with nudity, would be more a cause for humour than any form of stimulation. Thrills, definitely not, but the population of Skingrad naked could definitely raise a bit of a laugh.

What other purpose do you think those animated six mods (that have a place in the top 20 mods of all time on the TES and New Vegas Nexuses) serve? I'm pretty sure "because they are mature and like mature content and are totally not infantile, you are!" is not the answer.

Just look at painted art. It was in its golden age, that there were the highest number of naked/erotic paintings.
If a game handles it in a good manner, it can become part of a living world. the way things are implemented is what counts, not the feature itself

Nudity by itself isn't necessarily provocative, depends on the context. For example, the Temple of Dibella in Daggerfall was fine. Mods called "Animated Prostitution", mods that make briasts the size of watermellons and bounce 1 meter into the air, add armored thongs, etc., on the other hand, are a different matter.

I think they should make undergarments another piece of clothing, which you can change out depending on what you buy. So you can decide to be "sixy" for yourself or just not care and go about your day. Whether or not it comes off or not is of no concern to me, as nudity really isn't a big deal. It's amazing how sixually deprived the world has become, and how when the idea of being free to the the naked human form comes up people immediately think we'll become degenerates who can't control our sixual urges when it's the very deprivation and censorship itself that causes us to be so swayed by it, since most have yet to become mature and desensitized to it. So all the lazy parents will continue flip their [censored] when their kid (Who I guarantee has seen naked people before of their own accord) is shown these materials. I say in the end the world will do what it does and we will all be forced to work in their laws so that we don't lose the few things they let us enjoy. In the end being nvde or not really won't take from your experience of one of the most amazing sandboxes you've ever had the pleasure of being able to play in, at least not until hour 400+ on character 17. Perhaps funny censor bars for people who want to feel like they are naked would suffice for people until they mod them away? Either way...why the hell does it matter?

I find it amazing that six a perfectly natural thing, causes so much over reaction from people. If it weren't for six you wouldn't even exist to object to it. Yet it is perfectly accepted that killing in games is correct and fine, swearing in games is fine, racism in games is fine, but as soon as there is the slightest chance that a boob might appear all hell breaks lose.

Agreed. Theres nothing wrong with six or nudity being in video games (or movies, tv etc for that matter). A perfectly natural and good thing that people have a ridicolous attitude towards. I dont understand why people find it offensive or hate it so much.

If TES was perfect there would be many types of underwear and an underwear slot (taking underwear off would make you naked) but since its not I'd prefer that there wasnt any underwear at all and everyone was naked when stripped. If I strip the body of someone I just killed or have six with an npc I want them to be naked. Its realistic and more natural. Glued on underwear and underwear rubbing six is just stupid and breaks immersion.

The devs have indicated that Skyrim will be a dark and gritty environment.

I watch The Game of Thrones a lot, and it reminds me a little of how I would like Skyrim to be, an interesting story, with raw, dark, and gritty environments.

I do agree with this, but it seems once you start including that, it's very easy to way overdo it and you end up with a result that's similar to what an unhealthily large portion of the TES/gamesas game modding community has been making and it becomes simply ridiculous. It's hard to include nudity while avoiding making it gratuitous fanservice.
