Will Fallout NV be ported to Portable System?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 11:05 am

Hi, ive been a fan of fallout since fallout 1 and 2 and for a while i lost hope in the direction the game was going in. However, i found out that the original creators (not bethesda) had made fallout new vegas. Now i will never have a computer that can run any of these games, and i hate regular console games as i cant take them anywhere. Is there a possible chance of fallout new vegas ever getting ported to psp vita or another portable gaming system?

Not Fallout New Vegas, it's got a too complex control scheme with too high requirements for today's portable systems, however it might be possible to port Fallout 1 and 2 to the PSP. Regardless, it wouldn't get a lot of sales, I'm willing to bet, so they wouldn't develop it.

Don't have one myself, but the Xbox version seems to crash at every turn on New Vegas so I can't imagine a handheld device faring any better. As mentioned there are too many buttons needed, and the game is too old for a port now that Skyrim is out.

I'd love to see Fallout 1 and 2 put out for the PSP with some modified controls but it won't ever happen.
