Will Fo4 be fixed.

OK so 1.3 went live with a lot of comments similar to those in the 1.3 Beta forum. I still get low fps and regular fps drops in certain areas. Will Fo4 get fixed?

You can't make a generic complaint without identifying your platform.

With a known configuration like a console, Bethesda might make more improvements.

On a PC, the best advice is to upgrade if you are not satisfied with FPS.

Mine is great with a low-end NVidia 960.

Ok so we are in the PC forum and my spec is in my sig plus I stated that I still suffer from low fps and a further fps drop in certain areas. Admittedly I run mostly at Ultra settings but I have seen 90+ fps in the past, then limited by Vsync to 60 and now my PC is struggling to be smooth at 50 fps.

I suspect mine would be great if I turned both resolution and quality down but I don't spend money on my PC to do that, it should be more than capable of running this at mostly Ultra settings.

To put it bluntly, no.

I have rarely seen a Bethesda support reply here. I am seriously doubting their ability to even maintain this game let alone produce a playable dlc. I think the amount of presales went directly to their head.

Turn down shadow distance to medium - your cpu is not capable of doing that. None of the available is, actually. They dropped the ball with this one.

Also the hard hitter is godrays - worst part about going below ultra is really crappy effect on it. It gives you pixelated sh#t smear around the gun. I don't get why. But performance hit of that setting is ridiciulous. Set it to medium/high and you'll never hit low frames.

Those two setting are the culprit for your low performance in places/areas.

The guys got 2x 980ti's. He should be able to run in ultra everything. Bethesda has more than dropped the ball on this one, to say the least.

Frankly your sig was unreadable in blue on my tablet. If I had seen your rig, my comment would have been different. Looked like someone giving no clue what they had, but complaining about fps. Sorry about that.

Last I checked SLI is not supported so the dual GPU means naught for this game. Second, I recall Crysis being the golden standard for graphics for years after release. Nothing could max it with solid 60 fps for years. And I don't recall anyone complaining it was optimized like garbage (and it was). Off the high horses everyone.

Fair enough, but you and I both know crysis had maybe 1/16th or less bugs than this game. :)

That was was also in a time when software could go beyond what hardware could deliver. Now that hardware has eclipsed software, the reality of it is anyone whom wants to spend the money can easily be playing ultra everything. And the fact that this game engine is technically a generation old (which is sadly a true statement).
