Only reason i am asking is because my disk drive is completley and utterly screwed and i will be unable to get a new one fora while.

Steamworks allows you to install a game without having to put the disk in.

If not will i be able to buy the game in a store and then somehow download it off the site?

I am new to MMOs sold on shelves in stores so i am not very knowledgable of this kind of thing.

The client can be downloaded directly from your account online. No need for a disk or a separate file manager like Steam.

I believe that you should be able to download the client, and then your physical purchase will just be used to supply the activation code.
