will my laptop support fallout 3?

hi am wondering if a ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics card will support FO3 i also have 3 gigs of RAM and am sorry if i didn't provide enough information am not so good with computer stuff. also if it will support it will i experince lots of lag and crashes? and will unistalling SC2 on my laptop improve performance? anyways thanks for the help. and if you additional information regarding my laptop please tell me i'll try my best to find out

The 3100 is a pretty low end card - you're probably going to have to settle for low graphics settings, and even then you're likely to get stuttering and framerate issues in busy areas.

Posting a Dxdiag would be helpful.

i typed in "Run" and from there i typed Dxdiag thats where i found my video card uh where can i find out srry for being an idiot :banghead: and your saying that it will be very difficult to play FO3 on my laptop even with low settings?

You can create a text dump of the Dxdiag file by clicking the Save all Information ... button in Dxdiag and then picking a location (such as the Desktop) where you can find the file. You can then open it up in Notepad and copy and paste it into a post here.

Obviously you're going to have to try it out to be sure, but chances are that yes, you will probably deal with lag and stuttering in many areas of the game. The Radeon 3100 chipset just isn't designed for gaming - it's a business class chipset designed for running standard business applications at high screen resolutions.
