Will nanovision be fixed in Patch 1.2?

I loved the demo and it was for me better than COD4.
Full Crysis 2 though because of the changes away from the demo has become a boring pile of rubbish.
The dynamic of gameplay has been changed significantly for the worse by the alteration to nanovision.

I have to wonder, why you decided to alter nanovision when a simple poll I have just run here: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=16135&start=0 indicates that you shouldnt have reduced the distance at all as over 2/3 of people feel nanovision should be back at the distance it was in the demo.

Quite honestly I would rather have paid £30 to play the demo indefinately even with limited options and 2 maps. I feel deceived that my hard earned money has been spent on a completely different game to the demo.

Somehow you have also managed to mess up Stealth Kills since the demo, so that now they glitch half the time.

I would appreciate it if an admin/moderator would address my concerns as it seems many are having similar ones.

Really? I was wondering why I could no longer see those damn snipers so far away on Pier 11 any more!

In all honesty, I can barely stand multiplayer now :/ and I loved it so much in the demo. Not because anything has changed, but because I've realised just how insanely annoying everything about it is. The constant and un-mutable, unnecessary auto-taunts... the ridiculously annoying and repetitive sound for the radar scan, why are these things needed? I mean the auto-taunting.. why? Never in a game has it been fun to have some douchbag insult you after they kill you, be it an AI enemy or a human, automated or not. It makes absolutely no sense to force your opponent to mouth off at you beyond their control, it's not like they're even really doing it.

Man sorry to hijack your thread, I've been wanting to bich about that for ages.

Nanovision was changed basically because other modules do the work and if you want to spot people from far, you have to equip them instead of just hitting N.

Thats not correct at all. None of the modules let you see anyone beyond 20m.
A person in cloak at that range is near impossible to see.

Still the poll speaks for itself. Most people dont want the change and want nanovision back to the distance it was.

Nano vision was grossly over-powered. It's fine now.

Unfortunately 33%, 40% and 28% isn't very conclusive at all.

We would also need much more than 83 votes to get a better overview of what the entire community would like.

Please continue this discussion in your original thread instead of making a new thread on it: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=16135

Thanks!
