Will my new rig get rid of huge fps drop near NPCs?

Those IntelliPower drives only do a max of 6000 rpm, not 7200;) Look it up on google, it's there. You would be better off with a WD Caviar BLACk instead of the Green line (Which really isn't made for performance and/or gaming rigs).

Well if you say so i can always install Oblivion on my SSD - The WD caviar green 1TB i will use for alot of DVD ISO movies (i will have to install it to another directory than program files because i've read about problems with UAC)

PS: Does anyone know if i should use the ini tweaks for the multi core CPU?? You know - bUseThreadedBlood=1 , bUseThreadedMorpher etc.? If i have a 4 core CPU will it help anyway??

I don't think any of the ini tweaks are valid any more. The standard ini should be fine as it is after the latest patch.

However you can use the following site to tweak your oblivion instalment:

Well finally i've got this computer after 2 weeks (how ridiculous). Now Oblivion perform very very good. I have installed only 3 Unofficial Patches + Supplementals. I have max graph settings, 1360x768, AAx4 (forced in catalyst), HDR, Anitrozopicx8, V-SYNC. The FPS never drops below ~25 even if there are many NPC's on screen. When no NPC's are on screen - FPS is always 60. So finally i can play Oblivion properly (for what price :( (1369 PLN)
