Will New Vegas have priority support?

There are stories cropping up around the net about the console versions of New Vegas having massive, crippling issues. As a PC gamer, I'm curious what the plans are for short and long-term support of the game.

An example of a crippling issue. (PS3 version)

you'll experience freezes, crashes, you'll have to turn off autosave and lose all the progress every 30 minutes, you'll feel frustrated with 10 FPS and somebody will release a mod fixing all the problems you have.

Considering that all of the 'stories' are just that, stories. Until I get the game in my hands or hear about issues from people that actually have the game, I'm not gonna worry.
