I know it's an old game but there are so many glitches still in it, even after 4-5 patches. Im going back to playing it so I can finally beat it before I start skyrim but there's so many game killing bugs still.

Does anyone have any info? I know it's a long shot, and there is literally pages upon pages of glitches still in the game.

I mean, people have gone out of there way to make unoffical glitch fixes for the PC, why can't the port it to consoles?

I'm almost 100% certain that it won't. Bethesda are done with Oblivion now.

The only bug I'm aware of is in the GOTY PS3 edition. You cannot complete the Vampire quest chain and Bethesda has already said they will NOT be fixing it. That is the console and version I am playing. I am doing the same as you, finishing Oblivion before I start Skyrim. I already bought it, but will at least wait till the patch which is coming the week after Thanksgiving. So far I have not encountered any huge problems.

Alecto and Dragliza are correct. Bethesda stopped patching Oblivion in 2007.
