It's too late for the community to grow. They've already put a bad taste in just enough of everyones mouth to not come back to this game.
The only people that are going to support this game are the ones who haven't given up and haven't lost faith. Me being one of them. The only thing they can do now is continue to release patches in hopes that things become more civil within this community.
I know for a fact I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, so I'll stick it out and be here for the long haul.
And for all those who jumped ship to go play COD or Killzone or whatever FPS this generation seems to be saturated by they too have problems maybe even worse. I for one will take a little bit of lag and some dodgy hit detection over hacked consoles with cheaters using GOD mode and XP reductions for other opponents.
I was one of the folks that actually bought Brink as well, thinking I was going to be getting a better community of players and some diverse gameplay. And trust me, playing against a bunch of glorified Aim Bots that the devs created is 10x worse then this game will ever be. Just remember that.
yeah i get what you mean about the community not really growing now, but if they fixed the game to how you would expect it to be then i think the community would grow slightly probably via word of mouth i.e, people getting their mates to get the game to play together etc.
the only FPS games i have been playing recently are Crysis 2 and BF:BC2 (getting ready for BF3
![Very Happy :D](http://gamesas.com/images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
). both of these games have problems but Dice put in a fair bit of work to get BF:BC2 to where it is today and even though the servers may be starting to get
slightly emptier you can still get some awesome games!! but where will crysis 2 be in just over a year from release?
yes the game is awesome, but lack of support will just kill off the people who are still trying to play the game sooner than they would've probably put it down by themselves.
just my 2p
