Where may this NVSE thread be located good sir?

Yes, it svcks, Project Nevada is the last mod I need to make this playthrough the most enjoyable thing ever. I just want that to work with what I've got now and I'll be a happy camper.

I need that cyberware NOW!!!

Do you have boot camp and a windows OS. Then you could play the game in Windows and have NVSE

No boot camp (what is that?), I'm playing it through wineskin. May you kindly direct me in the right path?

With apple you can purchase bootcamp which allows you the option of booting into either mac operating system or into windows. It was added since windows has a lot more programs and in particular games and since Mac went to the same hardware components as the pc.

Oh, I have virtual box... it should work with that right? Although, I'm dead set on just trying to get it to work on this OS X. As it already is, so there has to be a way. Which I'm trying for days and days just to figure it out.

*Update* Says I have to update to latest version of Fallout. Which I'm guessing is the ultimate edition. I'll let you guys know if it works out, crossing fingers.

You'll have to do a search for it.

No, it just means you need to patch your game. Though it wouldn't hurt to get the Ultimate version. That comes fully patched and includes all the DLCs.

Getting the Ultimate edition, installing right now, svcks cuz I already have it for PS3. Paid 60 for it when it was kinda new.

Hopefully everything works out because these mods keep the game alive for me.

**Update** Well, I got the Ultimate Edition to work, some of the mods are working great. I think I'm done messing around with Project Nevada.

I'll just go request the cyberware mods separately, hopefully it doesn't need the NVSE.

I'm pretty close to getting it to work however, the last problem said something about the HUD installation being a problem.

I don't know if you guys can help with that.

The thing is that quite a few of the mods do need NVSE.

You might want to try gophers unified hud mod. You might have more than one mod that alters the hud if so you need to either make the changes yourself in one of the files or just use that mod to make other mods that alter the hud play nice with each other. The thing is that mod might not work without NVSE. I know some of his mods do need NVSE since he does like to use MCM (Mod configuration menu).

The NVSE works, it's just rather slow, and the 4GB Fallout mod doesn't work on this mac for some reason.

Still the HUD extension looks like a pain to mod but is doable.

I'll try to figure out how to install it since I can't do it "manually." Something to do with the .INI file right? Jesus, this is a swift kick in the [censored].

Being new to modding and being stuck at this integral part of the process does give me high hopes though. I don't want to start my play through until I have all these mods up and running.

***Meanwhile, I just took a separate mod called "cybernetic implants," as a back up plan for my planned psychotic cyborg.

Wow, I've been modding wrong this entire time. Adding the esm and esp files and forgetting the meshes and textures.

I feel dumb.

Are you using a mod manager?

The Fallout mod manager doesn't really work, it'll pop up but the options and features don't work.

I'm doing everything "manually." Basically just dragging and dropping. It's extremely addicting and fun, until mods conflict with each other. Then I have to sort it out manually, which is a pain because I don't know where the problem is.

It's running smooth again, after a lot of trouble and getting really angry at times. hahaha. So worth it though.

Doing it manually can work well if only using a few mods and if they are small ones, or non complicated mods. The issue is when trying to update mods since you might have to start from scratch and install everything from the beginning.

Mod managers makes it easier to uninstall/upgrade mods since it keeps track of which files were added.

Maybe you can use Nexus Mod manager or mod organizer. Mod Organizer should work with Fallout games as well as Skyrim. I have not used it.

The GeForce 760 is a little bit better than this one, according to this benchmark site I refer to:

Though not by much.

PCPartPicker gets rid of some parts after a few days for some reason and it really annoys me. I think they go out of stock, not sure though

Bootcamp comes bundled with OSX. You'll find it in the applications/utilities folder. All it does is partition the HD enabling you to install Windows and then install Mac specific drivers for the Windows partition. You'll need your own copy of at least 64-bit Windows 7 sp1 though. If you have a spare copy of Windows and enough HD space I'd recomend using a native Windows partition over an OSX emulator or wineskin wrapper - you'll get much better performance. Fallout NV really isn't a very demanding game - I played it on my 2008 iMac without a hitch.

I think I'll be fine, I have enough mods to tide me over. No legit windows copy for me to even attempt.

These Nevada skies though really change the atmosphere. I am in awe of the stark beauty.

False alarm guys, I FINALLY got Project Nevada running. I so excite...

FINALLY get to have extra cybernetics... I'll definitely be making videos of my Raider/Great Khan play through... Have yet to see any videos played from that perspective. I'm a huge really devoted fan of Al Chestbreach, so they'll try to be like his videos.

I am now complete. :fallout:

Glad it is working.

If doing lets play or something like. I suggest just being you and having fun making the videos. If you try to be something that you are not will likely not work well.
