I read somewhere that technically Bethesda is going to release another patch, to fix the lip sync bug introduced with the 1.9' one...

Wheter they're really going to do it or not, that's another thing...

I'm reading about the Lip-Synch bug and I was flummoxed to learn that only some unlucky folks get it. I've seen it on YT and it's just awful for both the ears and eyes. It should definitely get patched.

Doubt it. In order to believe it, Bethesda themselves have to say it.

Hopefully but I'm not holding my breath.

Fixing the lip sync would be nice.

This situation reminds me of the Episode Three/Half-Life 3 debacle, just here Bethesda has officially spoken to its consumers that they are done with the game. On the other hand, Valve's hit the mute button and kept going like it till now and probably beyond.

What do you mean with "only some unlucky folks"?

This again...

IF they release any patch at all it should be to fix that darn annoying lip sync bug, it has literally broken gameplay and Bethesda don't even give a crap.

:stare:  :bonk:

It's kinda annoying indeed, and unprofessional-looking....but you had to be so dramatic as to say it "breaks gameplay"?

Do you know how to throw a punch without hurting you wrist, fist and fingers.
If no then get a hammer and hit a wall.
If yes then punch a wall.
then patch it up.

It does; hadn't I saved my 1.8 install, I would no longer play the game right now.

The lip-sync bug is not the only bug I experienced after downloading patch 1.9. It seems that my character is sometimes unable to shout for a period of time, even if I have all of the "shout energy" or whatever it is that manages how often you can shout. The shouts temporarily disappear from the Favourites menu and when I am trying to choose them from the magic menu, it says that I have to wait for the shout to cool down (even if I should not have to wait for it to cool down). It seems to happen whenever I need to use those shouts the most, like whenever I am cornered by some über-Draugr and need to blast it away. How can Bethesda screw the patches up so bad? 1.9 was not even supposed to affect shouts or lip-synching, yet it still happened and in a bad way nonetheless. They did promise to keep patching the game and to release small updates. It is their responsibility to fix the issues caused by this dreadful patch.

I sent in an extensive list of bugs and got a no, so none of the ones we still have seem important enough to have a programmer working on.

The lip synch bug is something I'd like to see fixed, and it'd be nice to see the TG Hood with VL issue fixed, but like almost everyone else who posted, I'm not holding my breath.

its not a bug it happens when u press shout key in the middle of something mostly happens when you try to block or use weapon and shout at the same time happens to me lots of time shout gets greyed in shout menu and disappears from favourites menu because of it. you will have to wait a couple of seconds ( not cooldown ) before you can successfully use it again you can not shout and use weapons or spell at the same time
