Will we See BOS DLC

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 3:01 am

I'd love to see some brotherhood of steel DLC.

I know Sarah Lyons was supposedly "killed" but I personally believe she faked her and her supporters deaths to avoid being killed by Maxsons supporters, I would love to see her regain her position as Elder to the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood of Steel and declare Maxson as a Renegade. or have her Start her own "outcasts" to gain control of the Prydwen and try to regain her position as elder.

this would be the best outcome i'd like to see.

Though personally I'd have to say the Brotherhood is my favorite fallout faction, just because they hooked me in 3, had a bit of a rude awakening when I played Fallout 1-2-Tactics. I'd love to see some Brotherhood oriented DLC that would either retcon the current line, or deliver a delicious twist.

someone mentioned earlier in the forums about the enclave, and how Maxson would have recruited some of the survivors, maybe something like a coup would stir things up, or a Lyons Pride resurgance, if you went with the brotherhood ending they'd come and fight the prydwen brotherhood, and if you went with any other, the pride would salvage what they could of the survivors and equipment to bring order to the commonwealth or something, I dunno I'm only a good enough writer to get some basic plot down. and I don't want to waste words in this part of the forums.

i dont get why playing with no PA is such a big thing. It is such a unique and main mechanic to the fallout series, and kind of defines it. That was always my goal in the games to find the best PA and flaunt it. Then fallout 4 re designed the whole PA mechanic into something awesome. I always joked about PA being a regular set of armor in previous games. Just seemed too "hardcoe" to be regular. Now its not armor, or clothing. Its designed the way it should be. Also, it overtakes your armor stat, as in you can wear whatever you want as regular clothing, and not loose any damage resistance. Right now i am rocking the silver shroud jacket. Its just bad ass looking. The only thing i dont like is the lvl based system when you find it. The x-01 should not be lvl based. It should be in one place, and a [censored] to get. Even a quest line to get it. I have always loved the Brotherhood of Steel (hence my handle on this forum. Its also my xbox gamertag for the last 7 years. And most login names for everything i sign up for) And the way they have it as a faction in FO4 is great. I can really immerse myself in the role of a knight. I would LOVE to see a DLC focused on the Brotherhood.

mmmmm no. I dream of a world with no brotherhood left standing. In any form :)

That is the only way I can guarantee the safety of my beloved Atom Cats!

Who knows. Some might say if we do, what if we are enemies of the BOS? What if we do the thing and now the BOS hate us?

I'd rather DLC not even touch the factions implemented in the main quest, personally.

Is this spoilers? I had to stop reading since I haven't touched the BOS section.

it shouldn't really be a spoiler, at most you've seen the trailers, at worst it's a minor terminal story that most people miss.

thanks and sorry about that, didn't really think something that was seen in trailers, or the sarah lyons thing were spoilers.

If DLC is released and it's centered around one faction alone other then remnants of the Institute then it would cause chaos. Because the other factions would be left out. And even that would be barely acceptable because the Institute were the main bad guys. NV had DLC with a Brootherhood, but not THE Brootherhood. The only way to pull it off would be to do something similar.
