Will we see the Enclave again?

We do you trust Obama if you are from California? He is on the other side of the country. Remember... the enclave uses the very important PoseidoNet. They can easily contact each other with this.

They didn't, and the armor isn't MWBoS power armor to begin with.

I always wondered why people have such a hard on for joining the Enclave.
Then I realized. It's not their mission statement or beliefs...it's because they have the black Power Armor, some of which makes you look like Batman.

They just don't want to admit playing Fallout 3 and seeing an army of mecha Batmen coming at them with laser guns and they realized they found their senpai.

Well back then they were just techno Nazis and the only cool thing about them was the pseudo super-mutant freak show that constituted a final boss.

I hope so. If for no other reason than to witness the spectacle of people complaining about it.

well for all they now he could be a mutant (seeing how all enclave memebers are from the oil rig) and this is after the US was destoryed. also I actually do not trust Obama at all (but for political reasons).

Edit: I think Enclave soldiers should of been a lot stronger in Fallout 3.

And the Enclave do not have "pseudo knightly none-scene" like the brotherhood, who in turn I hope gets wipe out in fallout 4.

Quite, the Enclave's motivations were made entirely clear in Fallout 2 - more so than Fallout 3 - and were not simply about being evil for the sake it. They were deluded certainly, obviously in-fact, and if your just going to draw the line at "Nazis" because they mention other people being genetically inferior than them (which probably isn't even un-true, radiation causing genetic mutations that are hereditary and all). Makes me wonder how you can appreciate any villain in a game if your unwilling to consider anything but a cursory first opinion.

you know whats funny is that if the master would of won in fallout 1 the Enclave would of been anti-hero's (though it would be for selfish reasons). I also think the enclave might have a base in florida because were else would did they make that crawler (it's the mobile launch pad for space shuttles).

I'd like to see them more trying to survive and provide for their families. Hidden away in some bunker. Have them send out shock troops to fight guerrilla style hit and run. No more never ending cache of pre-war tech. Maybe they only have access to 3 or three vertibirds, making them a very valuable resource for them to only be used very strategically. They can also have their morals changed from the black, obviously evil nazi kill everyone who isn't "perfect" to a more grey doing what they can to keep their small bastion alive as well as try and bring the world back to the "glory" of pre-war times.

Now that would be the kind of things I want the Enclave to do in FO4

I'd like that too. But that was basically there morality in Fallout 2 and 3, look out for themselves. It wasn't about "killing everyone who's not perfect", that was just one angle. President Richardson clearly states that "Sure they could live on the mainland but the sheer number of people that exist there would eventually consume them" and considering the way the NCR behaved in Fallout 2 and New Vegas they weren't even wrong to assume that.

They were doing what you are saying now but taken to it's final step, if there's nobody else then there's nobody that can threaten them is there? That was essentially the motive or their plan.

Not to mention either that they've never appeared to care about the "glory" of pre-war times, crossing boundaries even the evil state that was the pre-war US wouldn't. Their goal was to ensure the survival of the USA as a nation, not it's culture which they have drastically changed from.

didn't the mobile base crawler have 3 landing paids. i would also thing the enclave had another one or two because their are a least three launch platforms made for NASA. though it wouldn't be able to carry enough personal to sustain the Enclave.

and that is what makes the enclave interesting compared to the brotherhood, in fact how many post apocalyptic settings have the government surviving the end of the world. plus the capitol wasteland seems hopeless with all those raiders and super mutants.

The Mobile Crawler isn't necessarily a NASA Crawler. NASA didn't exist in Fallout, it was the USSA. Not to mention that the pre-war US was still using rockets to send people into space even into the 2040's. Considering the massive tower and satellite dish it's clear that the machine wasn't built as a shuttle transport.

Indeed. That's one of the reasons I find them interesting.

Well yeah but it's whether you consider the Enclave killing them all for their own benefit to be justifiable isn't it?

by the way l would like to see the powerful faction from outside the United states invade the wasteland like one of America's enemies survived in the same way the Enclave did.

I just though of some horrifying what if a dictatorship like north Korea survived the nukes (though there are already a wasteland) and there is now no one to stop them.

Edit: the above is the reason why i'm suprise that the enclave doesn't have some type of navel protecting the oil rig (because the U.S. can't be the only ones to do this)

A great scene but why go nip at the Brotherhood's toes when they might bring a rebuilt Liberty Prime to your front door.

The Brotherhood knights have the full support of the Brotherhood scribes, while the Enclave remnants have had to retreat leaving much of their tech base behind.

Napping a lightly protected caravan or wiping out some slavers or raiders and taking over their base would make more sense.

Course if the reward was high enough, couldn't you see some one at the Institute using deniable Ex Enclave mercenaries to take a very valuable prize from the Brotherhood.

"Oh what a shame your expedition to the the Greenway Labs ruins was attacked. Such bad luck the Enclave intercepted it."

I think Mr. house is the only person that would be able to build something like liberty prime. plus most of the enclave tech base was destroyed. also I think Lyons pride is probley going to be destoryed from the inside by people that only join to get their hands on the tech.

They have to exist. They are a major (debatable) character in the game. They continued technological advances after the bombs fell and had caches/bases all over. I refuse to believe they are done, but broken and scattered definetely. Just as the BoS had different groups cut off from communications (East/West coasts) they too could have the same issue and are still working to rid all mutant life from the USA. Unaware that their robot leader is dead.
