Will Shadowmere Return In Skyrim?

I thought Shadowmere was simply essential, not immortal. Unless people believe we'll see http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Essential_NPCs in Skyrim too. They were all essential and some never became 'mortal' ;)

Meaning that its not done by Bethesda.
Its still a wiki kinda thing, and hands down the very best site at information about elder scrolls gameplay, and increasingly, established lore.

No more of this UESP bashing please.

what about the imperial library

We can meet the Adoring Fan again :), had actually been a little cool if they have a bear pit or arena, and a old bosmer who goes where every day and complains that the imperial city arena was much better and he knew the grand champion.

See just as much reason to add shadowmere as the adoring fan. Yes she could be a quest reward again but guild rewards seldom repeats only daeric quest rewards.

I think he was thrown off dive rock in cannon...

Hmmm....you know we speak about horse with red eyes and unknown roots. And we speak about creature that aren't described in any book in TES so we don't know in what speed he became older. And that NPC/guys you point is humans, and most of them aren't sick on Vampirism or became Lich or Werewolf.

Yeah I agree. Although Todd said in the podcast that they're still messing with mounts and is unsure if they will fit into the game as mounts. Horses in general will still most likely be in the game but unmountable...if that's a word.

I will be pissed if there are no horses in Skyrim, i loved them in Oblivion even without mounted combat.

Getting a little confused here. So you guys are speculating as to the possible origin of Shadowmere and that her presence in Oblivion might have a more profound lore behind it and may return in Skyrim?

I just thought people confused essential with immortal; sorry about that :)

But if anything, I think she's not a vampire, lich or lycanthrope. I believe she may have come from Mephala's realm in Oblivion :obliviongate:
