Totally. An entire storyline lampooning the Mario series would just be epic beyond epic. With it climixing to a duel with an intelligent Deathclaw who also happens to be a Mob Boss, on a bridge, over a pit of something molten.

Or King Apook (I refused to call him Bowser until I was in High School- He was always King Koopa), Bowler, or something similar. And the Damsel needs to be wearing a lot of pink and be very girly.

Knowing Fallout she'd turn out to be a man.

Oh man, what if you can SEDUCE Tabitha with a high enough CHA check...? That would be...interesting. I would have to do it just to say I did it.

That's funny, I'd go out of my way to say that I didn't.

Why is it that when you and I are in the same thread there is no such thing as "on-topic"?

On-Topic: six yes, romance maybe, marriage/family no. I don't want this to become a romance sim.

I would like there to be more Romance than six...You know, someone back at the Home Base waiting for me to come home after a long hard day (or week...depending when I set out) of fighting off Super Mutants and Powder Gangs.

I imagine six by itself being a lot easier to accomplish than romance. I would like there to be romance, but if it's not done correctly it would probably be better to not have it.

Hm. Depends how it's done and approached. The best example I can think of was in Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines...heather, this girl, becomes your Ghoul (Vampire slang for slave), and she just hangs out at your base and things. Over time, I grew pretty fond of her, rushing up to greet me when I got back from being a Vampire and doing Vampire things.
Romance aspects should be about developing relationships between the NPC's and the Player themselves, trying to hit that mark where you actually care about them and what happens to them.
Like when I nearly cried when I lost Dogmeat the first time to the Enclave en route to the Citadel the first time...

If that partner would be killable I would like that. She would jump into my arms, happy that I'm alive and then I would shoot her in the head. :celebration:

I love Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3. These games i consider the top of the single-player rpg mountain. Still I get frustrated when there is something I think would be awesome to do with the NPCs that isn't even a remote option. I liked the concept fable 2 had were you could get freaky with any NPC you wanted, but i hated the gameplay of that game.
Having the option to explore any/all aspects of other characters lifes in the world is something I understand is probably impossible right now. But take the step in that direction and allow my character find that special someone in the wastes or just a dirty booty call when my character is in a remote part of the desert. Hopefully using a non-radiated condem so the character doesnt get "the super-clap". *clap clap*
Post Nuclear Simulation is a great concept, but take that maturity level to its max and make the real scary/sixy parts of this concept even more ralistic. Lets be real, the reason we love these games is because they are pretty freakin close to real in most ways. Having the option to take part in these themes is having a choice to influence completly fake characters in a fake-realistic setting and allowing the player to take nerd-dom to a new level and pretend he has a girlfriend... or friends... with guns, booze, and drugs.

Ditto.

There've been alot of interesting (read: good and bad) suggestions on this thread and I think that so far most of us would agree that we'd just like there to be the option of this material. No one wants this crammed down their throats, but if romantic and sixual options, quests, dialogue were available we'd be pretty happy. Look at what's emerged from the modding community, one of the top mods over at Fallout Nexus is a mod that adds a hell of a lot of sixual content, much of it quite graphic. But it also includes dialogue options and quests. Now I consider that one to be a bit over the top, but it helps highlight the fact that there are a lot of fans who feel that Fallout 3 is missing those mature themes and content. Otherwise why would that mod be THAT popular?

I want Jimmy Hats!

Seriously though, in fallout 2 the abundance of Jimmy Hats implied that there was plenty of it going on but never really forced the issue. They should atleast do something along those lines so that it's not an element of society that's clearly missing in the game where it would be very much present, particularly in Vegas, since it was very much the case in Reno. I think if they don't have sixual content to some extent then new vegas wouldn't seem quite right...could you imagine New Reno without it?

I don't think that love/romance has much place in the game ...it would make me start thinking of it as a sims game, it just wouldn't be right.

i think that some innuendos and jokes would be a nice addition

but the fallout 3 : we wont kill children stance was strange for if you were a trully evil character you would take them to ol uncle eulogy for a new life

or we coud go oblivion style and incinuate that you are born fully grown lol but thats not gonna happen

Up until Fallout 3, six and romance were themes that poped up throughout the Fallout franchise.

I actually don't remember any romances. The shotgun wedding does'nt count as the character was only having some sport[censored]ing.

six, though, could be handeled better. Like fade to black after the agreement for a transaction with a prosttute/whoever and after the action, fade in in the bedroom with some witty comments from the partner, and not seeing her/him going to bed with all clothes on and then go sleep right next to him her. Or something.

In the long run, though, I don't really care if stuff like six and romance are in or not as they are not something that the game necesserrely needs. And I certainly would hope that Obsidian doesn't go for the cheesy and, imo, ridiculous Bioware route with that.

I'm not above relations with mutants but...Centaurs...It's West Coast so it'd be the dog-headed variety...That would be just wrong on so many levels.
Now if they developed an adequately bodacious Super Mutant female...
