Will Skyrim for Games for Windows Live (PC) have achievement

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:54 am

Does anyone know yet if the Games for Windows Live (PC) version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will have achievements?

If it does then I'll definitely be getting it for the PC. I don't know why but achievements just make all games more fun.

Any feedback is appreciated.

What makes you think there will be GFWL version?

Fallout 3 did, but Bethesda decided to take the Steam route with New Vegas...so i'm kind of confused on where they stand.

I don't believe that was his question. :whisper:

More than likely not, if past games are indicators.

I'm pretty sure they will be using Steam, like they did on New Vegas. New Vegas had achievements.

If there will be a GFWL version available I'd not recommend it. GFWL does not support mods, but Steam does.

I like them, they don't bother gameplay too much.

The game will likely use Steam, if New Vegas is any kind of indicator. If that is the case, then it will have achievements through steam. I highly doubt that GFWL will be used.

At present time there is no info which would indicate that Skyrim will utilize GFWL. As such the question serves little purpose at present time and I will close the thread. ;)
