Is there a possibility we could be traveling outside of Tamriel in TES V? What are your thoughts?

No, Oblivion had "Akaviri armor worn by the blades from another continent beyond Tamriel" because that is the armor of the blades. Their weapons and armor are derived from Akaviri armor and weapons.

That is true, but isn't it still possible we could travel to another continent? The Blades have been more or less destroyed, and the Empire is crumbling. It may be necessary in the game to have to rebuild the Blades and also retrieve and reforge this armor for the coming battle against Alduin.

Yep... I wouldn't expect going to Akavir unless it's in a future Elder Scrolls title after we're done with Tamriel.

Edit* We could re-forge blades armor without having to go to Akavir fairly easily.

Edit edit! If we go to another continent in Skyrim whether it be in game already or as a expansion it would most likely be Atmora

What you heard was ideas from the community for an expansion. No official news on anything out of Skyrim.

In Oblivion, we have to travel through an oblivion gate to enter Mankar Camoran's Paradise. I don't think it would be out of the question for us to temporarily travel to a place outside of Skyrim.

Looking at the map shown in the "Behind the Scenes" vid, I don't see landmass that belongs to Cyrodill. (ie, Bruma isn't on the thing.)

Of course, it'd be cool to see what that city looked like 200 years later. Is the CoC's statue still there? Did anti-Empire pplz tear it down, thinking it an obvious symbol of the Septims?
