Will SLICrossfire support be in the game at launch?

Post » Wed Mar 26, 2014 8:01 am

I know dual card setups are few and far between, but as someone with a laptop that has two relatively weak cards (750m's) in SLI and relies on the performance of both cards to get a great gaming experience, this is important to me. Has there been any info released about this, or are we SOL?

If they add True-Fullscreen SLI/Crossfire will at least function.. Whether it functions well, who knows.. I'll be happy just to get fullscreen at release.

Do they need it? On my 2x780's on ultra and on 2560x1440 I was pushing upto and over 100fps.

Yep - need true fullscreen.

Hoping the fix isn't too far away

I know you need true fullscreen for sli - but if you have 2/3 monitors (like nearly all of us do now right?) then it's better without.

I was asking do we really need sli on this title? Performance is fine without.

Doesn't matter... already was confirmed they are working on true full-screen mode, so we get it either way.

You should understand that not everyone has 2 strong gpus, many have 2 weaker/older ones.

I, too, would like dual card and multi-screen support. I have crossfire and eyefinity at the sometime. 3 monitors at total res of 4800x900. When do you think that ZOS support movable windows ingmae? Right now, the windows are to far apart to be useful.

Hopefully soon. But, whom knows?

I'm not super thrilled with the UI from a chat window perspective. I respect the minimalist UI, but not allowing UI elements to be moved or resized (enough). In the case of the chat window it is just much smaller than I want. Unfortunately, I can only make is smaller. It must be pretty bad to try to play on a multi-monitor setup the way everything is locked down.

Indeed.

I tried making an SLI profile to see what would happen, and my fps crashed by about 50% lol. Really hoping this gets added. I suppose for the release I will play on my desktop.

They said full screen would be coming. Does anyone know if it will be ready by launch?

Basically no one knows unless they posses a time machine, my guess is that it will be included. I think it was even supposed to be included in the last beta weekend, but it wasn't.
