We won't know about the rain until the final build on 11.11.11. We've only seen alpha footage.

Not without mods.

I very much doubt that the rain thing wilk be fixed. I don't really mind it that much though, I'm more worried about gameplay issues.

Is this another complain about complainers thread? Honestly, for every "complaint" thread that I see, there are five more guys who post how perfect Skyrim is going to be, and high-five each other. What's wrong with bringing up a complaint about a proposed system that you feel that the devs have gotten wrong? How else will they know how the public feels about what's in the game? With these forums they get a free focus group.

Exactly.

Will this game just be another dopey console action game? Sure seems like they want the Gears bros.

That is concern #1.

The rain isn't actually in the game, it is a "Picture" in in front of the camera.

They can't even make ladders, so let's not have too high expectations :D

Honestly, I expect very little from Bethesda technically, based on... well, their previous history in this field.

Supposedly, attributes are still in and functioning, they're just not visible/trackable in the menu.

~Player.GetAV Agility should still return an engine utilized value. Checking all of 'em will be one of the first things I do on 11-11.

Well, it IS a gameplay issue, but yeah I'm not too worried about it either. I WILL be pained each time I play minecraft which has proper precipitation collision, but what can you do.

People complain about what they don't like. You don't like them complaining, and so you complain. Therefor, you are the same as them.

This. Mass Effect 2, one of the most beautifull games so far has exactly the same issue with rain in the buildings.

BTW... I really don't get it when people use the excuse that the Shouts Rain would be different then normal rain, that's just nonsense. And OP, I don't get your title at all.

June build. I've played many beta's before where the final build had fixed certain things and we're not even talking beta here. The build was alpha.

No, someone confirmed it like 2-3 days ago ill try to find the link and edit this later.

Here is the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1232670-my-eurogamer-experience/

And here is a quote:

1: While playing it began to rain, rain still goes through walls, so that excuse about it being a shout is now debunked.

Nope. It was yesterday actually and he specifically said it was a "June build". A near 4 month old alpha. He even said the build had no music either. That's how old it was.

Edits Yea saw it yesterday. Asked him a lot of questions myself in that thread. In the OP he specified it was a June build with no music.
