I live in Maine, just north of Massachusetts (Boston) and I can 10/10 verify that cazadors are a huge pest control problem up here. (Just kidding)
We really don't have the climate to support such exotic creatures this far north and I think the closest thing we will see are the "Blood Bugs" which are clearly mutated mosquitoes (mosquitoes being the Maine state bird) which are overabundant in New England.
Cazadors were no match against the GMG though. Or as I like to call it, the Imma-Cripple-You-Gun.
If there are any swarm enemies that moves fast and deals heavy damage then you should go with whatever equivalent of a GMG you can find.
Makes them a cakewalk.
(By the way, for anyone who hasn't tried it yet, try playing Fallout New Vegas with Explosives exclusively, no other weapons at all, only explosives. It's quite fun)
I've done that. But I sometimes get a bug where my explosives do zero damage, so it's not really a viable build for me.
I hope so but I doubt it due to environment.
For some odd reason I'm reminded of cliff racers when cazadors and Bethesda are mentioned together.
They're a freak experimental creation in the Mojave, but they could well of migrated further over the Wasteland.
They were the unfortunate creations of a mad scientist in the west, as were Nightstalkers. However, depending on what exact year Fallout 4 takes place in they may have expanded eastward. I'd estimate it'd probably take at least fifty years for the species to naturally spread as far as Boston, though, so probably not.
However, we may very likely leave the Boston area in DLC, so.. if we have a major Shivering Isles-type Expansion Pack in the west..
i love cazadors. so much delicious exp. in new vegas
I doubt we'll see any Cazadores, but we will be seeing those giant mutant mosquitoes.
It was apparently economical enough for a few examples of the Wasteland Survivor's Guide to be found in the Mojave Wasteland.
Not fair as cliffracers was easy targets as soon as you was level 6 or something if you had some ranged capacity, bow or magic. If you did not have any ranged they was annoying,
I was refering to their annoyance in their numbers of occurance not their difficulty or tactics to beat them, because they are quite easy when you do get used to them. I guess I should of mentioned that, the post I made was more of a joke anyway.
How about these guys instead?: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58606/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D58606%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D2730179&pUp=1
Haha! Awesome. I'll have to get that mod next time I play.
Thanks for the link
Oh, goodness no. I don't think anything will compare to Cliff Racers. Cazadors are feared because they deadly and prove a challenging foe. Cliff Racers are feared because the levels of annoyance they can cause a man could easily break his soul.
LOL, yes but so many people complains about them.
remember an mod in Morrowind who added high level enemies including cliffracers who did ranged attacks

Dear... god! Sounds just as bad as trainwiz's cliffracer mod: https://youtu.be/S4rXsrZRchQ
Probably used to take that picture
And yes that mod creates dangerous cliffracers, they will crash your game then the numbers get high enough
Not those things. Anything else but cazadors. I wish they never return.
Wrong thought process guys. Cazadors. Deathclaws. ppssh. They are nothing compared to the mutated deer/elk whatsit. You will fear it. That is all.
