I have seen articles on several sites, one of them being IGN, saying that the Beta for the next Doom game is going to be on PS4, XB1, and PC ONLY. It will not be available on PS3 or 360.

I want to know if this information is 100% accurate. If it is, then I'll be returning my copy of W:TNO to Gamestop.

You will need a special code to participate in the DOOM Beta and not a disc of Wolfenstein: The New Order. To answer your question though, yes the DOOM Beta is only on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Well, it's really disappointing that Bethesda has chosen to shaft the PS3 users who bought W:TNO and signed up for the Doom Beta on that platform.

I don't give a crap what their reason is, this is unacceptable. If the Beta was only going to be on the PS4 from the beginning, then that blue dot advertising the Doom beta should not have been on the PS3 version of W:TNO.

I know it svcks, but if you get a PS4 you will still be eligible for the Beta.

Doesn't matter where it was discussed. You do not promote a Next Gen Console Beta on a last gen title.

If the beta was Next Gen only from the beginning, then that Doom Beta promo SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN on the PS3 version of W:TNO, it should only have been on the PS4.

If I had the freaking money for a PS4, I would've bought one by now as it is right now, I don't.

As of this writing, I have already sold my copy of W:TNO. As to will I buy Doom when it comes out, or any other Bethesda title, remains to be seen.
