i swear people read a headline then go on a whining spree without knowing the full facts.

1. aim assist only apply if you are using a GAMEPAD since 99% of pc players use a keyboard and mouse this is a non issue.
2. as for the press start that is not presnt in the retail version.

It's not a console port. It has very big, open areas and levels that allow for many ways to complete objectives, just like the first Crysis. The levels are not as big as the original but they are still big. Absolutely nothing like Call of Duty and other tunnel-vision shooters. Please ignore these whiny babies who don't own the game that spread FUD and misinformation. Read any of the reviews and they will tell you the game is very open and big. The graphics are #1 out of all video games.

You can also use the config file and edit advanced settings this way.

That would be a rational argument, if it were not for the fact that it has all those things on console. As it is thats not even a valid point.

In fact just reading it made me file like I had just dropped 5 IQ points as a result of doing so.

Lol, that doesn't even make any sense. So just because there's a console version, it's automatically a crappy half-baked console port despite having large, open levels with many ways to complete objectives, just like the first Crysis? What kind of logic is that? According to your logic, let's make an example- Crysis 3 is fifty times larger than Crysis 1 but has console versions as well, so automatically it's a console port, despite having fifty times bigger maps. Just shut your filthy mouth.

If it's in the console version then the fact that it's also in the PC version doesn't prove it wasn't ported from the console. How can you not understand this argument?

Is there some other language you would prefer me to use to communicate this principle?

PS: I'm sure you think the addition of "LOL" at the start of your paragraph assures that my statement is flawed but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

RE CRysis 3: YES!!! Thats probably exactly what will happen Crysis 3 will be made for PS4 and 720 and ported onto PC. Only in this case it will most likely look better on console at least until PC hardware catches up.

What you don't seem to understand is that your posts contain implications that a console port automatically means crappy game. Just because there's also a console version doesn't mean the game svcks, you dumb bastard. Your logic is flawed and obtuse. "Every game that has a console version is a **** console port derp durp". Let's say Crysis 3 in 2013 has maps ONE THOUSAND times bigger than Crysis 1 and 2, but OH NO THERE'S A CONSOLE VERSION AS WELL, game must svck, let's all disregard. **** you, you stupid ****. Don't reply to me again unless you can make a logical post.

Yep, EXCELLENT job on the console game. But what real PC player wants to play a port? Let alone spend $60 on it. Were not stupid, Crytek.

You do not get it at all. Crytek moved mountains to bring this game to console literally a herculean effort, and then after they did that, after they'd done all this FOR THE CONSOLE VERSION they made the impossible, possible. Then they had the opportunity to give us something much more special as well but they didn't do that.
