Will the lawbringer perk be in Fallout 4?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 4:29 am

If it did, no raider would be safe from me. >BD (even if the perk didn't make it to Fallout 4)

If the raiders are foolish enough to attack my settlement(s), they'll get smoked like a peace pipe and their fingers will be added to my collection.

It's always fun to kill raiders.

It's nowhere to be found on the perk chart, have you looked for it there? So if it's anywhere, it would have to be a rank of some other perk but I can't imagine which, or be a perk you gain by some other means besides leveling.

If Lawbringer does appear in Fallout 4, then it should probably bestow negative Karma on those who practice it. I think that people of the 1950's looked down on bounty hunting as dishonorable.

EDIT: On second thought, it shouldn't bestow positive Karma. It is probably best to keep it neutral.

But it isn't the 1950s. Nobody from 2077 was from 1950, either. Seeing how in the FO Universe troops were executing Canadians with a bullet to the back of the head, then waving to the camera, yeah. Throw in a nuclear war and wasteland justice, mix in murder and cannibalism, and you gettingg a lil bit closer to the FO World.

1950 is when our universe and FoU convergent, from that point on everything is different.

2077 is the future were everything was high tech for them in certain science areas, thier culture change too while still mainting the 1950 trends.

i assume there bounties for chinease at that time.

Anyways,I wish there were a set of option to convert your own gang for your settlement.

Example have a pop up screen to convert your gang or settlement to slavers, bounty hunter, treasure hunter, caravan merchant supliers, law bringer of boston, android hunters ,man slavers, womens slavers, child slavers etc etc.

Fallout is based in part on a 1950's vision of the future. 1950's movies and television shows don't preach moral relativism. Good never changes and evil never changes, and that view is consistent in popular fiction of the 50's regardless of the story being of the past, of the present, or of the future.

I did have to revise my original post, though. Collecting bounties on bad guys should not, as I first suggested, bring you bad Karma. Instead, it should bring you neither bad Karma nor good. I think that bounty hunters are frowned on because they're in their business for monetary rewards, not to do good or to help others. The people they hunt are treated as currency, not as human beings deserving of justice.

Turning down the reward for stopping a villain, however, demonstrates an interest in justice over cash, and so that action should earn you positive Karma.

I cant see it being part of the chart, so I imagen if it exists, its a perk you earn in the game world.

Well, I never really needed an incentive to put down the scum of the Wasteland, but if it's in, I'll probably take it.

"Anything to declare sir?"

"Oh just this bag of 100 fingers."

"Say no more, fam."
