will there be any more DLC for skyrim?

Post » Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:16 pm

ive heard rumors now and then about more DLC for skyrim at some point but then ive also heard no on that. will there be? if so, i would like to suggest making the dragonborn be able to have or summon smaller dragon mounts that could be ridden and actually steered. the bend will shout is cool but its also a tease because you cant actually control the flight path. maybe the smaller dragon mount can have good armor rating from its scales so it doesnt die as much as the horse? which by the way, my horse hasnt been dying as much lately so either im getting better at avoiding that somehow subconsciously or bethesda patched the issue? but a smaller dragon to ride wouldnt break the game the way having the full sized dragon would. the full sized dragon has full use of its breath weapon and biting attacks which can be devastating to enemies and break the game possibly if the player could actually control it and ride it anywhere (not just fast travel) but a small draqgon would be more like as if the dragonborn was using their own weapons with mounted combat against enemies so it still balances. this doesnt diminish the coolness of being able to ride the bigger dragons either. maybe this could be the focus of a new DLC for skyrim actually? the bonding of friendship between dragonborn and a young drakling? a dragonling mount that also speaks and converses with the dragonborn when prompted like a friend? this could add a new twist to the storyline of the evil dragons being defeated to be replaced by the new age of mutual friendship?

Dragonborn was the last DLC. Bethesda finished in 2013.

Well, I wouldn't count on it. But I'm sure they will make a special edition that might have new content/new dlc.

They already made a Legendary Edition

I think they're going to live under rocks for now.

Isn't NV FO4? Or is NV like ESO?

New Vegas was made by Obsidian, but published under Bethesda

Think of it like another company making TES:Hammerfell, making all the DLCs, and then Bethesda publishing it and calling it canon.

They didnt make it, but they're adding it to the series.

But it'd be wierd to just skip 6, or 4, without game being called TES6 or FO4

I don't think they skipped it but rather added something before it.

No, there won't be any more of anything for TES V: Skyrim from Bethesda. That was announced nearly a year ago. :whisper:
