Sorry, no yeti, no bigfoot, what you saw was a frost troll. You can be sure because it has 3 eyes (one sort of on the foreheard).

Hope there will be a yeti...it's the opportune moment to include it in my opinion.

Frost troll is a yeti? I think we're forgetting about the actual yetis of TES. The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Karstaag. I'm really hoping they'll make an appearance in Skyrim, at least one or two of them, that is.

If Daggerfall is anything to go by, about 25% larger than the average man.

Big foot / yetis are a bit cliché, don't you think?

That said, so are dragons, trolls, orcs, elves, skeletons, zombies, spiders, goblins, etc. so meh.

Judging by the screenshot / trailer, i'd say they're considerably taller than that. They look at least twice as tall... maybe more.

How can you tell? There's nothing to compare them to. The camera is even set low so that they have the appearance of being large, but you can't gauge how big they are at all.

Reminds me of the big foot in san andreas hoax. The guy even went so far as to edit the wiki every time someone corrected him.

Just a guess mostly from the trailer footage. Although you're right about the camera. It could just be a trick to make them appear a lot taller than they actually are...
