I hate it. "Oh look, my target ran behind a wall, let's keep spraying that wall with my LMG untill he's dead."
I prefer the good old: Hit your target when you're actually directly aiming at him.
Wall tracking is much more difficult then shooting a visible enemy, and it's isn't easily achievable with spraying.
Throw a grenade around the corner.
This only when such an angle is possible, and only if the character stays right at the corner, and also further remains when the nade is thrown.
Or fire a few around the corner if you're a Heavy and have that option.
I don't think there is any bullet curve perk or anything?
Anyways, I can see how the game will work without it, it will make the game a lot easier for those of us that are used to it as well, might just be a nice relief. But I will defend bullet penetration as being an advanced tactic used by skilled players, it does not favor poor play, as I believe the forum sentiment seems to be.
