I think he's talking about boss take downs in certain games, like god of war 3 or resident evil 5, where you have to mash a buttons in conjunction with a cut-scene type cinematic to defeat a boss.

Oh, of course not, this isn't a button mashing hack and slash.

They will totally be in the game. The most awesome quick time event is in the beginning, where you have to quickly push the right buttons in sequence to continue breathing. It drags a little as you have to keep doing it until the robot digs you up though . . .

It is more than made up for by the quick time game where you alternate the shoulder buttons to walk though. Mess it up and you trip and fall. It is awesome!
