I always have wondered where the kids are, if they do include them in Skyrim they'll probably make them invincible like in Fallout 3 though. Bethesda probably doesn't want to be known for making "That one child-murdering game"

they should, and it'll probably be like fallout3. invincible. but i don't mind that.
it would certainly add some nice depth.

I think that could be easily fixed by tying children to parents, ie if the parents died, the child would eventually be phased out of the game, removing the issue of a ghost town full of orphans.

Just a reminder to everyone. It is ok to discuss children in the game as long as there is no discussion of killing them. Such is not a part of any Bethesda game and is a forbidden topic of discussion here on the forum. First mention of it will result in warnings and if it we moderators must intervene too often, the topic will be closed.

If they make them friendly, yes. In Fallout, I wanted to ************** all of them at little lamplight.. well not all of them, some of the kids in fallout were cool. but the rude ones were annoying.

I realize that or the thread would already be closed. It was directed to anyone posting in the thread. Folks can assist in keeping it open by reporting any post discussing it. because believe me, it always comes up. I have high hopes for this thread.

The ones in little lamplight was annoying on purpose. How do you expect a town with just children to be.

My major issue is, what the [censored] will Argonian children look like, not to mention orcs and Khajitts, and will elf kids be rarer because they live for a long time, so if they had as many kids as humans they would overrun Tamriel.

Yea, but for immersion purposes. Though it might be weird to see a dragon attack a town and everyone but the kids get hurt. If that kind of stuff is going to break immersion then just leave them out.

Kids would be a neat addition to the game, I can see quests implemented around them.

This. Or have there be an orphanage of sorts, say in Cyrodil, that takes all children who lost their parents to war or destruction. Problem solved?

Hmm, I never thought about the beast race's children, should be interesting. Now that I think about it, do Argonians lay eggs?

I did rather like the kids in Freeside chasing the giant rat. Things like that add atmosphere to the game and life to the towns.

One would think so, given Ocheeva and Teinaava always referring to birth as hatching, and not to being children but hatchlings.

"Ocheeva and I have known Lucien since we were hatchlings. He is the one who trained us in the way of the Shadowscale, and is like a father to us."

Think so and it had been cool if you found eggs in an Argonians house. You steal them and get a quest of finding them from a hysteric Argonian lady,
However I doubt they will hatch, babies will require lots of animations and stuff to little use, the kids will be 6-12 years as in Fallout.

That is like, the main issue though. Could we replace the word 'kill' with 'hamburg' perhaps?

I wondered that too or would it be like children of men again as it was in oblivion. I hope they have it like fallout 3 some of the kids were ok, just don't make them annoying!

Ib fallout i always started off as a child, and "grew up" in the game every couple of hours or so. player.setscale "numbers" Eventually i would turn past 13 and give myself an advlt (small) body, but it was awesome. I really want to do that in Skyrim too, although it would be a lot different being a child with a sword than a child with a gun.
